DragonRAD for Tablets Announced

The DragonRAD developers have been busy creating a new version of DragonRAD especially designed for creating applications on tablet computers.

The first release, DragonRAD for PlayBook, will be released on October 1, 2011, and will include features such as:

  • Support for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
  • Additional formatting capabilities to exploit large, high-definition screens.
  • Appearance and user-interface specifications based on Styles, similar to style sheets used in web design.
  • File-based synchronization for synchronizing data through an attached computer.

A beta version DragonRAD for PlayBook has been used internally to develop applications for a major Canadian bank and a large Canadian Government department.
